Nourish your magic and take a sip of Ostara this spring time.
Herbal teas have been recognised as not only a delightful and refreshing way to savour nature’s gifts, but also as an ally in a holistic approach to wellness. In the same way, teas also take part in nourishing your body spiritually, as you create your sacred circle and practice mindfulness.
Over the years, I have crafted these particular blends to either help awaken my senses and ready myself for the day ahead or aid in relaxation when it comes to resting at night. As Ostara is a time of rebirth and renewal, I find myself sipping on some cold infusions on those extra bright, sun-lit days in my garden, as it is the perfect spot to soak in the warmth, even if it is a little hotter than Spring should be.
With this intention, I will share these herbal tea blends so you might include a fresh brew while you write your morning intentions or reflect on the week that has passed, and welcome the season’s vibrant energy into your home and hearth.
Some of these recipes are cherished blends that I’ve kept close to my heart, while other recipes have been bestowed upon me by close friends and kindred spirits. Each one holds a touch of magic and connection. By utilising fresh and dried flowers and herbs, each chosen for their unique properties and flavours, I hope these herbal blends can be your companions as you weave wellness and spirituality together to foster a harmonious balance in your life.

Why do we recognise Ostara?

What You Will Do
Take your dried flowers and herbs, and grind them into a rough blend. This does not need to be perfect.
Once this is completed, store your new blend in an air tight container or potion into your reusable teabags.

When boiling the water, do not let it come to an intense rumble. Rather, catch it just as it begins and pour over the blend.
If you are choosing to share the tea with a friend or two, I recommend add one TSP per person, plus one extra on top of this in a tea pot.
If you are enjoying this brew by yourself, I recommend placing two TSP in a single serve Tea Pot or Tea Strainer/Tea Bag.
Let the tea steep for 2 – 3 minutes, avoiding any longer to avoid an unpleasantly strong and bitter cup.
